| These pictures were taken by me at the very good Trafalgar Service held at Arbory Church, which was well attended. Many children from Arbory School were present and a good group of them in costume performed an extract from the play Heart of Oak & gave readings to tell the story of local hero Captain John Quilliam. Commerative wreaths were laid at the grave of John Quilliam by the Lieutenant Governor, Vice Admiral Sir Paul Haddacks, with Lady Haddacks, and by Mr Gale (Royal Navy Association) and by Jessica Newby with Adam Cowin (Arbory School). |
